Job Description

We are looking to hire a Sales & & Business Development manager that will be a good representative for Jowali Foods Private Limited. The applicant should have minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a sales manager in the FMGC industry and needs to have a good understanding of food processing operations and regulations. The person needs to be able to work independently while keeping its employer informed through daily communication. The sales manager is expected to work at least 8 hours a day, 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) to cover sales in Maharashtra. The person needs to be able to work in a flexible, dynamic “start-up” environment and understand customer need and provide solutions where necessary. 


  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies.
  • Identify new customers, distributors, and market opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for smooth order processing and dispatch.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and product performance.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close business deals effectively.
  • Support branding, promotional activities, and product launches.
  • Grow sales at key accounts, streamline the business process with key accounts
  • Optimize channel management
  • Develop E-commerce channels
  • Priorities new business development activities
  • Manage accounts receivable in the best way
  • Submit sales forecast in time
  • Improve efficiency by implementing customer category
  • More segment approach than product approach
  • Participate in yearly strategy work
  • Continuously feedback on market insights including market trends, competition, etc.
  • Frequent dialog with the business unit, product manager on both day-to-day as well as mid/long term plan
  • Requirements:
  • 3–4 years of experience in Sales & Business Development in FMCG companies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of distributor management and market expansion.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred.
  • Candidate should be willing to travel as required.
