Job Description

1. Business Development

  • Generate new business through cold calling, referrals, networking, digital inquiries, and field visits.
  • Identify upcoming residential, commercial, industrial, hospital, hotel, educational, and government projects.
  • Develop relationships with builders, developers, architects, structural consultants, PMC consultants, and contractors.
  • Conduct market surveys to identify potential customers.

2. Product SalesPromote and sell:

  • Passenger Elevators
  • Home Lifts
  • Hospital Elevators
  • Freight & Goods Lifts
  • Capsule Elevators
  • Automobile Elevators
  • Dumbwaiters
  • Elevator Modernization Solutions
  • Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
  • Elevator Spare Parts & Accessories

Recommend the most suitable elevator solution based on:

  • Building type
  • Traffic analysis
  • Capacity requirements
  • Speed requirements
  • Budget
  • Shaft dimensions
  • Customer preferences

3. Customer Relationship Management Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide customized solutions.
  • Resolve customer queries promptly.
  • Maintain regular follow-up until order closure.

4. Quotation & Tender Management Prepare techno-commercial proposals.

  • Coordinate with the engineering team for technical specifications.
  • Prepare BOQ-based quotations.
  • Submit quotations within committed timelines.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contract conditions.
  • Participate in government and private tenders.

5. Sales Conversion Follow up regularly on submitted quotations.

  • Convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Generate repeat business from existing customers.

6. Project Coordination After order confirmation:

  • Coordinate with design and engineering departments.
  • Arrange site measurements.
  • Ensure timely submission of GA drawings.
  • Coordinate with production and installation teams.
  • Monitor project execution until handover.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

7. AMC & Modernization Sales Generate leads for Annual Maintenance Contracts.

  • Promote modernization opportunities for aging elevators.
  • Identify replacement opportunities for obsolete elevator systems.
  • Cross-sell maintenance services to existing customers.

8. Collection & Documentation Follow up for advance payments.

  • Coordinate invoice submissions.
  • Support timely payment collections.
  • Maintain complete customer documentation.

9. Market Intelligence Track competitor pricing and product offerings.

  • Monitor new construction projects.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities.
  • Share market insights with management.

10. Reporting Maintain and submit:

  • Daily Sales Call Reports (DSR)
  • Weekly Sales Reports
  • Monthly Sales Forecasts
  • Lead Pipeline Reports
  • Customer Visit Reports
  • Order Status Reports
  • Competitor Analysis Reports
