Job Title

Automation Irrigation System – Sales Executive / Sales Manager

• Qualification
• B.Sc./B.Tech in Agriculture / Horticulture / Agricultural Engineering

OR

• MBA in Agriculture / Agri-Business Management / Rural Management

Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in drip irrigation, automation systems, fertigation, or agri-input sales
• Freshers with strong agricultural knowledge may also apply (for Sales Executive role)

Job Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Automation Irrigation Systems including:
• Smart controllers, sensors, valves
• Fertigation & filtration systems
• Identify potential farmers, FPOs, dealers, and agri-projects
• Conduct field visits, farm demonstrations, and product presentations
• Provide technical guidance to farmers on crop-wise irrigation planning
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with:Farmers
• Dealers & distributors
• Government agriculture departments
• Support customers with:
• 
  
• System selection
• Installation coordination
• After-sales follow-up
• Prepare sales reports, market feedback, and competitor analysis
• Assist in government subsidy projects and documentation (if applicable)
• Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of irrigation systems & agricultural practices
• Good communication & negotiation skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts in simple language
• Target-oriented and self-motivated
• Willingness to travel extensively in rural/field areas
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, email, CRM)
• Two-wheeler mandatory (with valid driving license)
• Preferred SkillsExperience in automation-based irrigation or smart farming solutions
• Knowledge of PMKSY / subsidy schemes
