Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Workday resource with hands-on experience with Workday Extend and Orchestrations, along with a good understanding of Workday business objects and processes, reporting, and analytics.

In this role, you will work closely with HR and IT stakeholders to extend Workday functionality and deliver secure, scalable, high‑quality solutions aligned with business needs.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Workday Extend and Orchestration
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and application solutions
• Develop REST/SOAP integrations, web services, and event‑driven processes
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and integration issues
• Support release management, upgrades, and regression testing
• Create and maintain technical documentation and development standards
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and business stakeholders
• Provide guidance and mentoring where applicable

Your skills and experience

• Overall experience of 7 – 12 Years with hands‑on experience with Workday Extend /Orchestration development
• Strong knowledge of Workday architecture, security model, and business process framework
• Proficiency in:
  • Workday Extend (UI, orchestration, business logic)
  • REST and SOAP APIs
  • JSON, XML
  • Object‑oriented programming concepts
• Experience with Workday Integrations:
  • Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors (advantageous)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Workday certifications (Extend, Compensation, Reporting, HCM etc.)
• Additional experience with other Workday modules, like Workday (Advanced) Compensation, Core Compensation, Core HR etc.
• Experience with cloud‑native development concepts
• Experience working in global or enterprise‑scale Workday environments
