Technical Specialist-App Engg Services

Area(s) of responsibility

Job Summary:

As an Ignition Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying SCADA/HMI and MES solutions using Inductive Automation's Ignition platform and Sepasoft MES modules. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and user-friendly industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ignition Gold Certification – Mandatory
  • Develop and maintain SCADA/HMI applications using Ignition.
  • Design and implement user interfaces using Perspective and Vision modules.
  • Configure and manage Alarm Notification, Reporting, and WebDev modules.
  • Integrate with PLCs and industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT).
  • Develop Python scripts and SQL queries for backend logic and data manipulation.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience with Ignition SCADA development.
  • Strong Python scripting and SQL database skills.
  • Experience with Sepasoft MES modules (OEE, Track & Trace).
  • Familiarity with industrial automation protocols and PLC integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
