• To effectively utilize managerial and technical skills to achieve Tool Engineering KPIs, such as mold and die manufacturing performance, tool cost versus value addition, and optimum utilization of resources.

 

Position Description – Key Tasks & Responsibilities

 

New Product Development & Tool Manufacturing

• Manage mold and die manufacturing processes with focus on optimization and cost effectiveness
• Review and discuss tool designs with the tool design team prior to release
• Prepare and monitor tool manufacturing PERT charts
• Create purchase orders as per Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Coordinate with planners for tool manufacturing processes
• Follow up with material vendors and suppliers
• Verify and monitor tool assembly checkpoints
• Supervise mold trials and part inspection activities
• Coordinate with:
  • Product Design
  • Tool Design
  • Application teams after mold trials
• Drive tool optimization based on trial outcomes

 

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain documentation related to:
  • TS Audit
  • SPS
• Ensure compliance with quality and audit standards

 

Tool Management & Cost Optimization

• Implement and support Schaeffler Tool Management Process
• Monitor tool cost vs. value addition
• Lead tool cost-saving initiatives and projects
• Execute tool rationalization projects to achieve sustainable cost reduction.

Your Qualifications

Education

• Diploma or B.E Mechanical 
• 5-10 Years of Experience.
• Certified from Indo Danish Tool Room
•  In trial and optimization of plastic injection molds
