Your Key Responsibilities

Goal of the Position

The purpose of this position is to ensure the timely manufacturing, tracking, and delivery of high‑quality tooling required to support uninterrupted production operations. The role focuses on efficient planning, execution, monitoring, and optimization of resources to meet manufacturing and customer requirements.

 

Key Objectives

• Manufacture tools as per the approved manufacturing plan, including Molds, Cutting Tools, Jigs, Fixtures, Gauges, and Assembly Tools.
• Track and monitor the complete tool manufacturing progress using the EP‑1 system.
• Maintain and monitor 5S and Quality System records and documentation to ensure compliance with standards.
• Control and track consumable inventory at an optimum level through the EP‑1 system.
• Deliver high‑quality tools to internal and external customers within defined target lead times.
• Respond promptly to production line urgencies and support smooth operations without obstacles or downtime.
• Ensure optimum utilization of Manpower, Material, and Machines to improve efficiency and productivity.

 

Key Responsibilities / Main Tasks

• Handle complete Tool Room operations as Shift In‑Charge, ensuring smooth functioning across all shifts.
• Execute tool process planning using the EP‑1 system.
• Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce overall process cost.
• Operate and support machining activities with hands‑on experience on:
  • Surface Grinder
  • Cylindrical Grinder
  • CNC Turning
  • VMC Milling
  • EDM
  • Wire Cut Machines
• Work effectively in all three shifts to support production requirements.
• Manufacture tools as per the manufacturing plan, including:
  • Molds
  • Cutting Tools
  • Jigs & Fixtures
  • Gauges
  • Assembly Tools
• Track tool progress and job status using the EP‑1 system.
• Maintain and monitor 5S and Quality Management System (QMS) records and documentation.
• Reduce in‑process rework and rejection percentages by implementing online process inspection methods.
• Maintain and monitor consumable inventory at optimum levels and track consumption through EP‑1.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of quality tools to customers, maintaining backlog below 10%.
• Respond promptly to production line urgencies, ensuring uninterrupted line operations.
• Ensure optimum utilization of Man, Machine, and Material resources.

Your Qualifications

• DME / B.E (Mechanical) - with 5 TO 10 years of experience.
