Job Description
Job Title: Field Sales Officer – Micro Business Loan (MBL)
Department: Sales – Micro Business Loans
Industry: NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company)
Location: Field / Open Market
Role Purpose
The Field Sales Officer will be responsible for sourcing Micro Business Loan (MBL) customers from the open market by identifying potential borrowers, generating leads, and ensuring quality loan sourcing in line with the company’s credit policies. The role requires strong field engagement with small business owners and self-employed individuals.
Key Responsibilities
Business Sourcing
Source Micro Business Loan customers through open market activities such as market visits, cold calling, and referrals.
Identify potential borrowers, including small shop owners, traders, service providers, and self-employed professionals.
Build a strong lead pipeline through local networking and market penetration.
Customer Engagement
Educate customers about the company’s loan products, eligibility criteria, and repayment structure.
Maintain strong relationships with customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
Documentation & Process
Collect and verify customer documents as per the NBFC credit policy.
Assist customers in completing loan application forms.
Conduct basic KYC verification and preliminary customer assessment.
Coordinate with the credit and operations team for loan approval and disbursement.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure all loan sourcing follows company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, applications, and field visits.
Submit daily activity reports and sales updates to the reporting manager.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Minimum 10th Pass or Above
Experience
Fresher or 1 years of experience in NBFC / Banking / Microfinance / Field Sales / Loan Sales preferred.
Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also apply.
