Job Title: Site Engineer

Job Brief

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer FROM RANCHI to oversee on-site construction operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will act as the key link between the design team, subcontractors, and project managers, translating blueprints into reality while managing day-to-day site execution and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Execution & Supervision: Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work complies with structural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of materials, workmanship, and structural elements to maintain high engineering standards.
• Setting Out & Surveying: Establish site levels, survey control points, and accurately lay out the construction footprint based on architectural plans.
• Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, laborers, and vendors to streamline workflow and maintain the project schedule.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring full compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Progress Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate daily site diaries, track material consumption, and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for project managers.
• Problem-Solving: Identify design discrepancies or practical on-site challenges early and collaborate with architects and structural engineers to resolve them.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E.) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in site execution (preferably in  project type, e.g., residential high-rise, commercial, infrastructure).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural, architectural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings.
• Hands-on experience with surveying equipment (AutoLevel, Total Station).
• Basic knowledge of project management software or CAD tools (AutoCAD, MS Project) is a plus.
• Core Competencies:

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic site environments.
• Should have knowledge of local routes of Ranchi.
