Job Summary:

The Field Sales Officer is responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and managing customers for group loans and small business loans in assigned rural or semi-urban areas. The role involves direct fieldwork, customer relationship management, and ensuring timely loan disbursement and collections.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify potential customers and form Joint Liability Groups (JLG) for microfinance loans

Promote and sell group loans and small business loans to eligible clients

Conduct field visits, center meetings, and village surveys to generate leads

Evaluate customer eligibility through basic credit assessment and documentation

Ensure proper KYC documentation and loan application processing

Coordinate with internal teams for loan approval and disbursement

Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business

Monitor loan utilization and ensure end-use compliance

Handle weekly/monthly collections and ensure timely repayment

Manage portfolio quality and minimize delinquency

Maintain daily reports and update systems as required

Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Graduate preferred

Experience: 0–3 years in microfinance, NBFC, or field sales (freshers can apply)

Good communication skills in local language

Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas

Basic understanding of financial products and customer handling
