Job Description
Job SummaryThe Store Manager is responsible for overall store operations, sales achievement, team management, customer satisfaction, inventory control, and maintaining brand standards. The role involves driving store profitability, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading the team to achieve business goals.
- Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business PerformanceAchieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Monitor daily sales performance and conversion ratios.
- Improve KPIs such as Walk-ins, Bills, UPT, ABS, ASP, and ABV.
- Plan promotional activities to increase sales.
- Analyze store performance and submit reports to management.
- 2. Team ManagementSupervise and guide sales staff on floor operations.
- Conduct daily briefings and product training sessions.
- Maintain staff grooming, discipline, and attendance.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage manpower effectively.
- Motivate the team to achieve targets and improve productivity.
- 3. Customer ServiceEnsure excellent customer experience at all times.
- Handle customer complaints and escalations professionally.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and product presentation.
- Build customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
- 4. Store OperationsEnsure smooth opening and closing of the store.
- Maintain VM standards, cleanliness, and display arrangements.
- Monitor billing counters and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure proper implementation of company SOPs and policies.
- Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams.
- 5. Inventory & Stock ManagementMonitor stock availability and replenishment.
- Ensure proper stock receiving and inward procedures.
- Reduce stock loss, damages, and pilferage.
- Conduct stock audits and physical verification.
- Coordinate with warehouse and merchandising teams.
- 6. Reporting & AdministrationShare daily sales reports and operational updates.
- Maintain records of attendance, leave, and staff performance.
- Submit reports related to sales, stock, and customer feedback.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Required SkillsStrong leadership and team handling skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales and target-oriented mindset.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Knowledge of retail operations and customer service.
- Basic computer and billing software knowledge.
- QualificationGraduate / Intermediate with retail experience preferred.
- ExperienceMinimum 3–5 years of experience in retail sales.
- At least 1–2 years experience in team handling or supervisory role.
