Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styles
  • Create sketches, mood boards, and design concepts
  • Develop patterns and oversee sample creation
  • Select fabrics, trims, and embellishments
  • Collaborate with pattern makers, tailors, and production teams
  • Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and timeline requirements
  • Present collections to management
  • Modify designs based on feedback and market demand


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or related field
  • Strong creativity and artistic skills
  • Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and textiles
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD) will be an added advantage
  • Trend forecasting and market awareness
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and time management
