Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styles
- Create sketches, mood boards, and design concepts
- Develop patterns and oversee sample creation
- Select fabrics, trims, and embellishments
- Collaborate with pattern makers, tailors, and production teams
- Ensure designs meet quality, cost, and timeline requirements
- Present collections to management
- Modify designs based on feedback and market demand
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or related field
- Strong creativity and artistic skills
- Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and textiles
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD) will be an added advantage
- Trend forecasting and market awareness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and time management
