🎯 Role Objective

Ensure all elevator components meet defined quality standards, safety norms, and customer specifications before dispatch 🚀

🔍 Key Responsibilities

🛠️ Inspection & Testing

Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components

Check dimensions, finish, and functionality using measuring tools (Vernier, Micrometer, Gauges)

Conduct load testing / durability checks where required

📋 Quality Assurance

Ensure compliance with ISO standards & safety norms

Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and checklists

Identify defects and ensure corrective actions

⚠️ Defect Control

Analyze rejection and failure cases

Coordinate with production team for root cause analysis (RCA)

Implement preventive measures to reduce defects

📦 Dispatch Quality

Approve final products before dispatch

Ensure proper packaging standards to avoid transit damage

🤝 Coordination

Work closely with Production, Design & Purchase teams

Support audits (internal/external)

🧠 Required Skills

Knowledge of mechanical drawings & tolerances

Understanding of elevator components (guide rails, brackets, panels, etc.)

Familiarity with QC tools & techniques

Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reports)

🎓 Qualification

Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical Engineering

💼 Experience

1–3 years in manufacturing QC (preferably elevator or fabrication industry)

💰 Salary Range

₹12,000 – ₹25,000 (depending on experience)
