Sourcing & Merchandiser (Production)

Responsibility

1. Handle end-to-end sourcing and merchandising activities for garments and textile products. 
2. Conduct regular vendor and factory visits for fabric sourcing, sampling, production follow-ups, and quality coordination. 
3. Source fabrics, trims, accessories, packaging materials, and production-related requirements from local and outstation vendors. 
4. Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships across textile markets, dyeing units, printers, embroidery vendors, and manufacturers. 
5. Negotiate costing, timelines, payment terms, and production commitments with vendors. 
6. Coordinate closely with design, production, and management teams for new developments and bulk execution. 
7. Monitor sampling, approvals, production status, dispatch timelines, and vendor performance. 
8. Support costing sheets, BOM preparation, fabric consumption coordination, and purchase planning. 
9. Identify reliable vendors and alternate sourcing options for better quality and pricing. 
10. Ensure timely material availability to avoid production delays. 
11. Maintain sourcing MIS, vendor records, quotations, and procurement tracking reports. 
12. Stay updated with market trends, fabric innovations, and competitor development.
