Job Description
A telecaller handles outbound and inbound calls to interact with customers, provide information about products or services, generate leads, and support customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Making outbound calls to potential or existing customers
- Receiving inbound calls and answering customer queries
- Explaining products or services clearly
- Generating leads or closing sales
- Maintaining records of calls and customer details
- Following up with customers
- Resolving complaints or forwarding issues to the concerned department
Required Skills:
- Good communication skills in Hindi, English, or regional language
- Polite and confident speaking ability
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to handle rejection and work under pressure
- Persuasion and negotiation skills
Qualification:
- Minimum 10th or 12th pass; graduates are preferred
- Freshers can apply
- Experience in BPO or sales is an advantage
Work Environment:
- Office-based or work-from-home
- Fixed or rotational shifts
- Often target-based roles
