Sales Officer

1. Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience: 3-7 years in FMCG field sales (General Trade). Experience in commodities (Rice, Daals, Oil) or Spices , FMCG is a huge plus.
• Education: Minimum 12th Pass or Diploma. Graduates are preferred if they are willing to do extensive field work.
• Language: Must be fluent in Kannada. Basic understanding of English
• Must-Haves: * A two-wheeler with a valid license.
• An Android smartphone (for order booking and GPS tracking).
• Deep knowledge of the local Tumkur/C.N. Halli market routes.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Market Mapping: Identify and visit every Kirana store, hotel, and small wholesaler within the assigned radius.
• Order Booking: Achieve daily targets for order value and "lines per cut"
• Relationship Management: Build long-term trust with retailers so they prioritize your supply over competitors.
• Payment Tracking: Ensure that the retailers pay the Stockist on time. Help the Stockist resolve any payment disputes.

Market Intelligence: Report on competitor prices (e.g., if a local spice brand is offering a better scheme) and new product launches

3. Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Your employee should be judged on these four metrics:

1. Total Sales Volume: Monthly revenue target.
2. Product Mix: Specifically, the volume of Dry Fruits, Spices, FMCG sold (to ensure profitability).
3. Active Outlets: Number of unique shops that placed an order during the month.
4. Collection Efficiency: Ensuring the "Outstanding" (credit) doesn't exceed given TAT.)
