Job Summary
We are looking for an Electrical Panel Estimation Engineer responsible for preparing techno-commercial estimations and costing for LT panels, automation panels, and electrical control systems. The candidate should be capable of understanding customer requirements, preparing BOMs, coordinating with vendors, and supporting the sales team with accurate and competitive proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Study customer enquiries, specifications, BOQ, and drawings
- Prepare cost estimation for:
- PCC Panels
- MCC Panels
- PLC Panels
- VFD Panels
- Automation & Control Panels
- Prepare:
- BOM (Bill of Materials)
- Costing sheets
- Technical offers
- Commercial quotations
- Selection of electrical components based on project requirements
- Coordinate with vendors for pricing and technical details
- Work with sales and design teams for technical clarifications
- Analyze project requirements and optimize costing
- Maintain estimation records and quotation history
- Support tender submissions and customer discussions when required
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Good knowledge of LT electrical panels and industrial automation systems
- Understanding of electrical components:
- ACB, MCCB, MCB
- Contactors, Relays
- PLC, VFD, HMI
- Busbar systems and cable sizing
- Ability to read:
- SLDs
- GA drawings
- Control schematics
- Knowledge of costing and commercial calculations
- Familiarity with Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Danfoss, etc.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / EPLAN preferred
- Good Excel and documentation skills
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical panel estimation or tendering
- Experience in panel manufacturing or automation industry preferred

- Knowledge of ERP / CRM systems
