Job Description
Transaction Processing: Scanning items, processing payments, and issuing receipts/change accurately using POS systems.
Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, providing product information, and resolving complaints.
Cash Handling: Balancing the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts, ensuring accurate reporting.
Returns & Exchanges: Handling returns, refunds, and exchanges efficiently.
Merchandising & Upkeep: Bagging items, maintaining a clean and tidy checkout area, and sometimes restocking shelves.
Security & Compliance: Adhering to security procedures to prevent theft and verifying customer age for restricted products.
