Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Spare Parts Incharge to oversee our spare parts department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, handling customer inquiries, ensuring the availability of parts, and maintaining efficient operations within the department. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge of bike parts, and excellent customer service abilities.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spare parts department, including inventory management, ordering, stocking, and distribution of parts.
· Maintain accurate inventory records using appropriate software or systems, conducting regular stock checks, and reconciling discrepancies.
· Process and fulfill customer orders promptly and accurately, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Handle customer inquiries, provide technical assistance, and offer guidance on suitable spare parts based on customer needs.
· Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely availability of parts required for repairs and maintenance.
· Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, prices, and timely delivery of parts.
· Monitor and analyze sales trends, stock levels, and parts usage to optimize inventory levels and minimize obsolete stock.
· Train and supervise spare parts department staff, ensuring they have the necessary product knowledge and customer service skills.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards within the spare parts department.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in a spare parts management role within the automotive or bike dealership industry.
· Strong knowledge of bike parts, accessories, and their applications.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
· Proficiency in inventory management software or systems.
· Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
· Leadership qualities with the ability to train and motivate a team.
· A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
