What You Will Do *

Manage moderately sized projects or processes. Typically viewed as subject-matter expert within discipline. Has advanced to expert knowledge of work area. Problems faced are difficult and often complex. Minimal oversight from manager. Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower level professionals. Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures.

General
• Manages moderately sized projects or processes without oversight from manager.
• Typically viewed as subject-matter expert within discipline.
• Has advanced to expert knowledge of relevant work area.
• Handles difficult and often complex problems.
• Manages overall project  scheduling and budget,requirements, reliability, coordination of different teams, evaluation measurements, and other disciplines for large or complex projects.
• Manages work-processes, optimization methods, and risk management for large or complex projects.
• Drives development of SW/ SJI/SPI to reduce escapes and improve OTD.
• Drives technical RRCAs.

What You Will Learn

• Leads RLPM milestones.
• Exposes to global roles. Oversees junior PEs .
• Expertise in PM processes.
• Participates in Collins PP&L and GETC PMO Discipline initiatives. Demonstrates proficiency in KPIs and digital initiatives.
• Participates and support in global or site level organizational initiatives - PMO council and council initiatives such as tech symposium, engineers week,, etc.
• Participates in technical work groups, PP&L, CoPs and techncial initiatives both internal and external to the organization.

Qualifications You Must Have *

• Bachelors or master’s Degree in Engineering
• 12-16 years of relevant experience in Project management/ Technology Projects management/ Leading Cross functional team
•  Project Management Certifications- PMP/Agile Certifications
•   Operations & Supply chain Exposure
• Qualifications We Prefer
• Work Experience on complex mechanical, electro-mechanical product lines of Aerospace industry
• Knowledge on Project management gate process and Work transfer gates
