About the Role:  
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant with hands-on expertise in GST and Income Tax who can manage all accounting and statutory compliance using Busy Accounting Software. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Indian taxation laws, strong analytical skills, and the ability to independently handle books of accounts, returns, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

1. GST (Goods and Services Tax)Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including registration, return filing, and reconciliation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns accurately through Busy software.
Handle Input Tax Credit (ITC) verification, reversals, and reconciliation with GSTR-2B and purchase registers.
Ensure timely payment of GST and e-way bill management.
Address departmental queries, notices, and audits related to GST.


2. Income Tax & TDSPrepare and file company and individual income tax returns.
Calculate advance tax, depreciation, and other adjustments as per the Income Tax Act.
Manage TDS deductions, deposits, and filing of quarterly TDS returns .
Generate and issue Form 16/16A, and reconcile Form 26AS with books.
Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for assessments or scrutiny cases.


3. Accounting & Financial ReportingMaintain day-to-day accounting in Busy Accounting Software.
Record and verify all financial transactions — sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Prepare trial balance, P&L account, and balance sheet on a monthly/annual basis.
Perform bank reconciliations, vendor and customer ledger reconciliations, and manage outstanding reports.
Ensure all supporting documents and vouchers are properly maintained for audit.
Assist in statutory and internal audits, providing complete financial records and explanations.
Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and taxation using Busy Software.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.
Hands-on experience with GST and Income Tax portals.
Good command of MS Excel and documentation.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
