Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a focus on understanding the unique requirements of the organization and translating them into effective software solutions. The workday includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and provide seamless functionality. Continuous refinement and adjustment of the software components are part of the daily routine to maintain optimal performance and user satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of applications through thorough testing and validation.
- Document design specifications and application configurations to support future maintenance and upgrades.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
- Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM modules and their integration within enterprise environments.
- Experience in configuring and customizing Workday applications to meet business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday Core HCM implementations.
- Familiarity with business process frameworks and application lifecycle management in Workday.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
