Senior Software Engineer, BigQuery

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in software development.
• Experience in software development with one or more general purpose programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, or C/C+.
• Experience architecting and developing large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of data warehouses, BigData, SQL, data mesh and relationship graphs.
• Expert level skills in developing Cloud or SaaS products.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical projects and make direct technical contributions.
• Design and implement features/components to support large scale metadata aggregation integrating with a number of cloud services.
• Design and implement tests and experiments to evaluate and monitor the performance of the system.
• Collaborate with EMs/PMs to plan the charter/roadmap for knowledge catalog context aggregation.
• Work effectively across boundaries in a distributed team setup to deliver on organizational goals.
