We are looking for an experienced professional to provide Lender’s Independent Engineer (LIE), Technical Due Diligence (TDD), and Project Investment Risk Monitoring services for banks, NBFCs, private equity firms, and other investors. The role involves evaluating project feasibility, construction progress, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and investment risks across real estate projects. The successful candidate will lead technical due diligence engagements, conduct cost and financial assessments, monitor project execution, and provide strategic insights to support informed investment and lending decisions while ensuring quality, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.Job Description
About the Role:
Lead Technical Due Diligence (TDD), Lender’s Independent Engineer (LIE), and Project Investment Risk Monitoring assignments for real estate projects.
Evaluate project feasibility, construction progress, financial performance, and investment risks to support lending and investment decisions.
Conduct cost assessments, budget reviews, cash flow analysis, and project financial evaluations.
Monitor project execution, statutory approvals, regulatory compliance, and environmental, health & safety (EHS) standards.
Review project schedules, budgets, and planned versus actual performance to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with banks, NBFCs, private equity firms, developers, and internal stakeholders to provide strategic project insights.
Ensure accurate reporting, timely project delivery, and high-quality client service across multiple engagements.
Drive process improvements, support business development initiatives, and contribute to proposal preparation and client relationship management.
About You:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
5 yrs of strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex business and financial data.
Proven experience in Technical Due Diligence (TDD), Lender’s Independent Engineer (LIE), project monitoring, or real estate advisory.
Sound understanding of project finance, cost estimation, budgeting, cash flow analysis, and investment risk assessment.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, statutory approvals, regulatory compliance, and EHS standards.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to identify risks and recommend practical solutions.
Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate with clients, senior management, and cross-functional teams.
Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using project and financial reporting tools.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
