Job Title: Retail Expansion Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Retail Expansion Manager to identify and develop new locations for our cake shop chain across Mumbai and nearby areas. The candidate will be responsible for market research, location analysis, competitor study, rental feasibility, and coordinating with landlords to ensure successful expansion of our retail network.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify high-potential locations for new cake shop outlets.

* Conduct market surveys and analyze customer footfall.

* Study competitors, nearby businesses, and customer demographics.

* Evaluate commercial properties based on visibility, accessibility, parking, and rental cost.

* Prepare feasibility reports including expected sales, investment, and profitability.

* Coordinate with property brokers, landlords, and developers for suitable shop locations.

* Negotiate rental terms along with management.

* Visit shortlisted locations and submit detailed reports with recommendations.

* Support store setup planning until the outlet is operational.

* Develop an annual expansion plan based on business goals.

* Maintain a database of available commercial properties across Mumbai.

* Monitor the performance of newly opened stores and provide recommendations for future expansion.

Preferred Qualifications

* 3–7 years of experience in retail expansion, business development, or real estate acquisition.

* Experience in QSR, bakery, café, food & beverage, or retail chain expansion is preferred.

* Strong knowledge of Mumbai's commercial markets and customer demographics.

* Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

* Willingness to travel extensively across Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, and surrounding areas.
