Job Description
- Generating and sending out invoices to customers
- Ensuring all billing details are accurate
- Keeping track of payments received
- Following up on unpaid invoices
- Resolving billing disputes and errors
- Maintaining records of all transactions
- Updating the company’s accounting system with billing information
- Communicating with clients to address billing questions or concerns
- Generating and analyzing billing reports
- Coordinating with other departments for accurate billing information
- Implementing and maintaining billing procedures and policies
- Handling customer inquiries related to billing
- Verifying and reconciling billing data with company records
- Monitoring accounts receivable to identify overdue accounts
- Preparing statements and summaries for internal and external use
- Ensuring compliance with relevant billing laws and regulations
- Assisting in audits and providing necessary documentation
- Training and mentoring new billing staff members
