Job Description
About the Role
Cult is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales performance, and deliver an
exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving business targets, managing store operations,
developing high-performing teams, and ensuring adherence to operational standards. This role requires strong leadership, commercial
acumen, and hands-on experience in retail management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Store Operations
Oversee end-to-end store operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, operational processes, and retail standards.
Manage store opening and closing procedures.
Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and brand presentation.
Ensure proper maintenance of store infrastructure, equipment, and assets.
2. Sales & Business Performance
Achieve monthly sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
Drive membership sales, retail sales, and customer acquisition.
Monitor daily business performance and key retail KPIs.
Implement action plans to improve conversion, productivity, and revenue.
Maximize upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
3. Team Leadership & People Management
Recruit, train, coach, and develop store associates.
Build a high-performing and customer-centric team culture.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching.
Prepare staff rosters and manage attendance, shifts, and leave planning.
Ensure employee engagement and minimize attrition.
4. Customer Experience
Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with Cult's service standards.
Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Build long-term customer relationships to improve retention and loyalty.
Ensure every customer receives a premium in-store experience.
5. Inventory & Asset Management
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock audits.
Ensure timely stock replenishment and merchandise availability.
Minimize stock shrinkage and prevent inventory losses.
Safeguard company assets and maintain stock accountability.
6. Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to company policies, audit requirements, and safety guidelines.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams including Operations, HR, Supply Chain, and Finance.
Maintain statutory and operational compliance at all times.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of retail experience.
At least 1–2 years of experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
Mandatory experience in Footwear, Activewear, Sportswear, Apparel, Lifestyle, or Fashion Retail brands.
Strong exposure to: Sales & Revenue Management, Store Operations, Team Management, Inventory Management, Customer Service,
Retail KPIs.
