Senior Civil Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Civil Engineer will oversee planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality benchmarks, and regulatory requirements. This role involves leading project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise civil engineering projects from concept to completion.

• Prepare, review, and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.

• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards.

• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.

• Liaise with architects, contractors, consultants, and government authorities.

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards.

• Resolve technical issues and implement corrective measures promptly.

• Prepare project reports, documentation, and presentations for management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s diploma & degree in Civil Engineering.

• 5–10 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of structural design, construction methods, and project management.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project, and other engineering software.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
