Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations at our institution. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in accounting principles, GST compliance, and maintaining accurate records.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily accounts, ledgers, and financial statements.
- Manage fee collection records, receipts, and reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly and annual reports for management.
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Assist in budgeting, payroll, and audit-related documentation.
- Coordinate with the admin and academic teams for expense tracking.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience (educational institution experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and basic accounting software.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Residing near Malleswaram is preferred.
