Job Description
Key
- Responsibilities📊 Cost EstimationPrepare detailed cost estimates for civil and construction projects
- Analyze drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and specifications
- 📐 Quantity Take-OffCalculate material quantities (cement, steel, aggregates, etc.)
- Perform accurate measurements from drawings and site data
- 📑 Tendering &
- BiddingPrepare and submit tender documents
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotations
- 💰 Budget PlanningAssist in project budgeting and cost control
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- 🏗️ Vendor &
- Material CoordinationSource pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Maintain updated cost database
- 📈 Reporting &
- DocumentationMaintain estimation records and cost reports
- Support project team with financial insights
🎯 Required
- SkillsStrong knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Expertise in BOQ preparation and rate analysis
- Proficiency in MS
- Excel, AutoCAD (preferred)
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Knowledge of local market rates (especially Karnataka/Bangalore region)
- 🎓 QualificationsDiploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 3–8 years experience in construction estimation
