Experience Required: More than 5 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced GT/PGT Faculty for Commercial Studies and Social Science subjects. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Commercial Studies for Grades 9 and 10 and Social Science subjects including History, Civics, Geography, and SST for Grades 4 to 7. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to create an engaging and student-centered learning environment.

Subject Allocation

Commercial Studies – Grades 9 & 10

History, Civics & Geography – Grades 6 & 7

Social Studies (SST) – Grades 4 & 5

Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons as per the academic curriculum and school standards.

Teach Commercial Studies concepts including business fundamentals, economics basics, accounting principles, and commerce-related topics for secondary grades.

Teach History, Civics, Geography, and Social Studies with effective teaching methodologies and practical examples.

Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessment materials.

Complete syllabus within the prescribed academic timeline.

Conduct regular assessments, tests, and evaluations to monitor student progress.

Provide academic guidance and support to students for overall improvement.

Classroom Management

Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.

Encourage analytical thinking, participation, and interactive learning among students.

Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support where necessary.

Promote values, awareness, and social responsibility through subject teaching.

Administrative & School Responsibilities

Maintain student attendance, academic records, and progress reports accurately.

Participate actively in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

Support school events, examination duties, and co-curricular activities as assigned.

Collaborate with colleagues and academic coordinators for curriculum planning and academic improvement.

Undertake additional academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualification & Experience

Post Graduate Degree in relevant subject with B.Ed. qualification.

Minimum 5+ years of teaching experience in reputed schools.

Experience in handling middle school and secondary grade students preferred.
