Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Academic Counsellor to join our growing team in Bangalore and Hyderabad. As an Academic Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring students toward their educational and career goals. You will serve as a bridge between students and our academic resources, providing personalized counseling, academic support, and motivational guidance. Key Responsibilities

• Student Counseling: Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to students regarding their academic progress, course selection, and personal development • Career Guidance: Guide students on career paths, college options, entrance exam preparation, and skill development based on their interests and abilities

• Student Engagement: Maintain regular communication with enrolled students through calls, emails, and video sessions to ensure their satisfaction and continued learning

• Academic Support: Identify struggling students and provide academic interventions, personalized learning plans, and resources to improve performance

• Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze student learning outcomes, prepare progress reports, and suggest improvements

• Retention & Enrollment: Work on student retention strategies and support the enrollment process by addressing queries and concerns of prospective students

• Collaboration: Work closely with academic teams, instructors, and administrators to ensure holistic student development

• Feedback Collection: Gather student feedback and suggestions to help improve the platform, courses, and overall learning experience

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, counseling sessions, and progress in the CRM system

Required Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in student counseling, academic advising, or related roles

• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written); regional languages are a plus (Kannada/Telugu/Hindi)

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse student populations

• Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Suite)

• Ability to work 6 days a week, including flexibility to accommodate student meeting schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with online learning platforms or EdTech companies is a plus but not mandate

• Strong presence on social media and digital marketing knowledge Benefits & Perks
