JOB DESCRIPTION- Academic Counsellor

JOB OVERVIEW:

MindLearn Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking an Academic Counselor with 0-2 year of experience to join our team. As an academic counselor, you will be responsible for interacting with students, providing guidance and support to students, as well as assisting the team in documentation and other related tasks.

Location: Bangalore (On-Site)- Raghuvanahalli, Kanakapura

Employment type: 6 days/ week; full-time (9.30 am to 6.30 pm)

Salary: 2.16 L - 3 L CTC

SKILLS REQUIRED:

●      Bachelor’s Degree or PG in Management or Arts/Commerce.

●      Good English speaking skills

●      Strong communication skills

●      Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and student information systems

●      Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with attention to detail

●      Empathy, patience, and understanding towards students' academic challenges

●      Good English, Kannada and Malayalam speaking skill is recommended

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

●      Handle documentation tasks such as maintaining student records, preparing reports, and managing office-related paperwork.

●      Support administrative office work including scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and assisting with general office duties.

●      Handling calls, both inwards and outwards as per the requirement.

●      Conduct individual counseling sessions with students to assist in academic planning, goal setting, and career development.

●      Offer guidance on course selection, educational programs, and career paths based on individual student needs.

●      Cross Functioning Team interaction and working with other teams to ensure effective deliverables.

SELECTION PROCESS

●      Round 1: Telephonic Interview

●      Round 2: Practical/ Technical Test

●      Round 3: Technical+ HR Interview
