Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items as per the menu specifications, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in meal prep, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is in good working order and report any malfunctions or repairs needed.
  • Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to create visually appealing dishes.
  • Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, assisting with stock ordering and rotating ingredients as necessary.
  • Ensure portion control and minimize food wastage.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary working environment in line with health regulations.
  • Handle special dietary requirements and requests as directed by the head chef.
  • Participate in the development of new menu items and seasonal offerings.
