Field Sales Executive

 Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive to join the PhonePe team in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for onboarding merchants, driving adoption of PhonePe services, and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and acquire new merchants/business partners for PhonePe services.

* Promote PhonePe QR, Soundbox, and other digital payment solutions.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and shop owners.

* Conduct field visits and explain product benefits to prospective customers.

* Achieve monthly sales and activation targets.

* Ensure merchant onboarding and KYC completion as per company guidelines.

* Resolve merchant queries and provide after-sales support.

* Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

* Submit daily sales reports and maintain accurate records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferred.

* 0–3 years of experience in field sales, FMCG sales, fintech, or banking sales.

* Strong communication and negotiation skills.

* Ability to work independently and meet targets.

* Basic knowledge of digital payment systems is an advantage.

* Familiarity with local market and languages (Kannada/Hindi/English preferred).
