Job Description
Job Summary
An HR Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring candidates to meet an organization’s staffing needs. They work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and ensure the company hires qualified and culturally fit employees.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies
Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and networking
Screen resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates
Conduct initial interviews (phone, virtual, or in-person)
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
Evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit
Maintain candidate databases and recruitment records
Prepare job descriptions and job postings
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle (from job posting to onboarding)
Build talent pipelines for future hiring needs
Ensure compliance with hiring laws and company policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to assess candidates effectively
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Good organizational and time-management skills
Knowledge of labor laws and hiring practices
Preferred Qualifications
HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR)
Experience in a specific industry (IT, healthcare, etc.)
Strong networking and negotiation skills
