Operations Executive – Fintech / Payment Gateway



We’re a fast-growing fintech building reliable payment solutions, and we’re looking for an Operations Executive who enjoys getting hands-on with payment flows and solving real operational problems. If you’ve worked with payment gateways or banking operations and like fast-paced environments, this role is for you.

  • What You’ll DoHandle day-to-day payment operations including transactions, settlements, reconciliations, refunds, and chargebacks
  • Support pay-in and payout flows, ensuring smooth and timely processing
  • Monitor transactions, settlement files, dashboards, and MIS reports
  • Coordinate closely with tech, finance, risk, compliance, and support teams to resolve issues quickly
  • Assist with client queries and operational escalations
  • Help maintain SOPs, documentation, and audit-ready processes
  • Support compliance tasks related to KYC, AML, partner bank requirements
  • Spot issues early, flag risks, and suggest process improvements
  • Keep things running smoothly in a high-volume, high-speed environment
  • What We’re Looking For1+ year experience in fintech, payment gateways, banking, NBFCs, or digital payments
  • Working knowledge of payment flows, settlements, reconciliation, refunds, and chargebacks
  • Exposure to UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, or payouts is a big plus
  • Comfortable coordinating with multiple teams and vendors
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and not afraid to take ownership
  • Good communication skills and a problem-solver mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a startup setup where things move fast and evolve often
  • Bonus Points If You HaveExperience working with banks, PSPs, aggregators, or payment partners
  • Basic understanding of PCI-DSS, KYC, AML, or regulatory guidelines
  • Experience scaling or supporting operations in an early-stage or growth-stage fintech
