Respiratory Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions

Administer oxygen therapy, nebulization, and aerosol medications

Operate and monitor ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP machines

Assist in intubation and airway management procedures

Monitor patient vital signs, ABG reports, and oxygen saturation

Perform pulmonary function tests (PFT)

Provide chest physiotherapy and pulmonary rehabilitation support

Respond to respiratory emergencies and code blue situations

Maintain respiratory equipment and ensure infection control protocols

Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and home oxygen usage

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and ICU teams for patient management

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records

Required Qualifications:

Diploma in Respiratory Therapy (DRT) or

B.Sc. Respiratory Therapy / Respiratory Care Technology

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of ventilator management

Critical care and emergency handling skills

Communication and patient counseling abilities

Understanding of NABH and infection control protocols

Team coordination skills

Experience:

Fresher or experienced candidates can apply

ICU or critical care exposure preferred
