Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, target-driven, and customer-oriented Telecaller to join our team. As a Travel Telecaller, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, helping them plan their dream vacations while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Your primary responsibilities will include handling inbound inquiries, making outbound calls to potential leads, explaining our travel packages, and converting prospects into confirmed bookings.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Sales & Lead Generation: Make proactive calls to prospective and existing customers to promote our domestic and international tour packages, flight deals, and hotel bookings.
- Inbound Customer Support: Answer incoming calls to assist clients with itinerary details, pricing, visa requirements, and booking procedures.
- Consultative Selling: Actively listen to customer preferences, budgets, and travel goals to recommend the most suitable travel products and close sales.
- Booking & Data Management: Process customer bookings accurately and maintain detailed, up-to-date logs of all customer interactions, feedback, and sales progress in the CRM system.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed daily call volume metrics and monthly revenue targets.
- Relationship Building: Conduct post-trip follow-up calls to gather feedback, ensure customer satisfaction, and build long-term relationships for future travel needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree or a diploma in Travel & Tourism is a strong plus.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in telecalling, inside sales, or customer service. Prior experience in the travel, airline, or hospitality industry is highly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and [Local Language/Hindi]. The ability to speak multiple languages is a distinct advantage.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid foundational understanding of popular tourist destinations, seasonal travel trends, and basic travel logistics.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) and comfort navigating CRM software.
- Soft Skills: Strong persuasive abilities, active listening, patience, and the resilience to handle objections and rejections gracefully.
