AABG (AWS) Mid Market Sales Engineer

Job Title – AWS Mid Market Sales Engineer (Manager) – Global Mid Market Management Level: 07 – Manager Location: Bangalore/ Gurgaon/ Hyderabad Must have skills: Strong hands‑on experience architecting and designing solutions on AWS Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, value‑driven cloud architectures Client‑facing experience engaging both technical teams and senior business stakeholders Experience leading technical discovery, solution design, and POCs Strong communication, presentation, and technical storytelling skills Experience supporting sales pursuits, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs) Good to have skills: Consulting or pre‑sales experience in cloud transformation engagements Exposure to GenAI / AI‑driven solutions, Data & AI platforms, or Cloud Security on AWS Understanding of cloud operating models, governance, and engineering best practices AWS Professional or Specialty certifications Experience working with global or distributed delivery teams Experience: 5–9 years of experience in client‑facing technology roles (Cloud Engineer, Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, Technology Consultant) 4+ years of hands‑on experience architecting and delivering solutions on AWS Proven experience across cloud modernization, data platforms, AI/ML, or digital transformation initiatives Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Or equivalent relevant professional experience Job Summary: The AWS Mid‑Market Sales Engineer is a client‑facing technical leader who partners with sales teams to drive cloud transformation for mid‑market clients. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role bridges business objectives and AWS technology, designing scalable, secure, and value‑driven solutions that deliver measurable outcomes and long‑term growth. This is a strategic pre‑sales and solutioning role, focused on shaping cloud journeys, demonstrating the art of the possible, and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to delivery. Roles & Responsibilities: Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client business goals and technical landscapes Architect and design AWS solutions aligned to business outcomes, scalability, and ROI Act as the technical authority during sales cycles, advising on feasibility, risks, and best practices Drive technical workshops and proof‑of‑concepts demonstrating AWS capabilities Collaborate with sales teams on proposals, estimates, and SOW development Ensure alignment between solution intent and delivery execution during sales‑to‑delivery handover Contribute to reusable solution assets, patterns, and best practices Professional & Technical Skills: AWS Architecture & Engineering Cloud Migration & Modernization Data & Analytics, AI/ML, and GenAI solutions Cloud Security & Compliance Technical solutioning and value articulation Stakeholder management and executive communication Additional Information: Role involves close collaboration with clients, sales, and delivery teams across India and global markets Some in‑person interaction required for client meetings, collaboration, and community engagement Strong focus on continuous learning, certifications, and career progression within Accenture Cloud First Accenture is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to inclusion, diversity, and accessibility About Our Company | Accenture
