As an Analytics and Reporting Specialist in our team, you will spend each day designing, developing, and maintaining data analytics solutions and reports to support business decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver insights that drive results.

Job responsibilities 

• Directly build and support Qlik dashboards to deliver information and data that drive business decisions and create efficiencies.

• Efficiently query, analyze, and transform complex data sets to optimize dashboard flexibility and performance.

• Collaboratively interface with business managers and technology teams to design, develop, and enhance Qlik dashboards.

• Consistently ensure all Qlik development aligns with best practices, principles, and standards defined by the Banking Analytics team, and complies with the firm’s overall data control standards.

• Proactively drive current projects to successful completion.

  Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• QlikSense:  Experience optimizing data architecture and data libraries for specific use in QlikSense

• Load script development experience:  Ability to load data from multiple source. Experience using scripts to transform data for various dashboard requirements

• Extensive data modeling experience. Advanced knowledge using set analysis & variables

• Experience developing Qlik user interfaces:  Creating charts, filter panes, text objects, etc.  Ability to apply and customize formatting using style sheets , Familiarity with section access. Experience with SQL or Alteryx. 

• Experience in resolving issues. Excellent communication at multiple levels of the organization, and the ability to influence others for a recommended course of action

• Prior experience interpreting and analyzing complex data sets, and providing actionable recommendations.

• Must be flexible and comfortable with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Able to manage multiple, high-priority deliverables simultaneously. Superior written and verbal communication skills.  Comfortable speaking, presenting, and answering questions during large meetings and conference calls

• Undergraduate and/or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, MIS, statistics, economics, mathematics or related discipline

• 3+ years professional work experience, with 2-3 years in a highly analytical function. “No excuses” culture, willingness to believe in oneself and assess situations as well as take risks when called for

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 2 Years experience in QlikSense development and  expert in SQL 

• Ability to update and write SQL code required to extract data from source systems

• Hive, Python and SQL 

• Salesforce reporting and data

• Business Intelligence platforms such as Tableau/Alteryx is a plus
