WHAT YOU BUILD

In this role, you will contribute to products aimed at enhancing the user experience of SAP applications, including Fiori Elements and SAP Screen Personas. You will focus on the ABAP development aspects of Screen Personas, along with designing CDS views and exposing them as OData services to support Fiori Elements in troubleshooting stakeholder issues and enabling new developments.You will ensure that solutions are scalable and aligned with customer requirements, while working independently with a strong focus on efficiency and leveraging AI tools. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, conducting feasibility studies and POCs, and driving end-to-end development of features, ensuring performance and reliability of existing functionality.Additionally, you will provide regular updates to stakeholders, collaborate effectively across teams, follow best practices, and continuously improve code quality and development processes. You will work in an agile, fast-paced environment, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and continuous delivery initiative.

 

WHAT YOU BRING

• Working knowledge of  - ABAP ,  CDS, oDATA ,BOPF, ABAP Unit tests, ABAP Test Cockpit
• Understanding of RAP/CAP programming models• Experience in building scalable, maintainable components. 
• Functional knowledge in SAP Products and Business Scenarios will be a plus
• Good understanding and hands-on experience using the ABAP authorization , Internet Communication Framework (ICF) concepts is a plus
• Good communication skills, team player and a highly motivated self-driven
• You are comfortable working in agile teams, driving end-to-end feature development, and collaborating across organizational boundaries.

With ~80% of our applications built on Fiori elements. Suite controls are an integral part of the SAP UI5 ecosystem, extensively utilized across various applications. They encompass both OpenUI5 and SAPUI5 runtimes, which adhere to open standards and incorporate robust development concepts.
