Silicon Firmware & Embedded Engineer

Project Role : Silicon Firmware & Embedded Engineer
Project Role Description : Write the software that powers and operates a silicon chip. Develop pre-silicon firmware and software with a direct interface to hardware. Integrate and develop C tests/APIs and software build flow. Perform design and code reviews. Test and validate product implementations.
Must have skills : Embedded C
Good to have skills : Embedded C++, Python (Programming Language)

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:
As a Silicon Firmware and Embedded Engineer, a typical day involves writing and developing software that controls and operates silicon chips. The role includes creating firmware before silicon fabrication, closely interfacing software with hardware components, and integrating various tests and application programming interfaces. The engineer actively participates in design and code reviews to ensure quality and reliability.
