Project Coordinator

Location: Chennai

Age Preference: 24–32 years

Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support infrastructure projects by managing schedules, coordinating between teams, and ensuring timely execution of civil works. The role requires strong organizational skills and basic technical understanding of civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and vendors
• Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and MIS
• Monitor site progress and ensure alignment with project plans
• Assist in resource planning and material tracking
• Follow up on approvals, permits, and compliance requirements
• Support budgeting and cost tracking activities
• Identify delays or risks and escalate issues proactively
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

Required Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of civil/infrastructure project execution
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project (preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Problem-solving and attention to detail
• Willingness to visit project sites as required

Experience

• 4 – 8 years of experience in infrastructure or civil projects preferred
• Freshers with strong internship/project exposure can also be considered
