Assembly Fitter

The Mechanical Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing mechanical components and sub-assemblies to create finished commercial kitchen equipment .

Assembly & Fitting: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering instructions to assemble commercial kitchen equipment accurately.

Component Integration: Fit and align sub-assemblies, mechanical parts, hardware, and structural elements onto stainless steel frames.

Basic Utility Hookups: Install basic mechanical, plumbing, or electrical routing (such as gas valves, burners, water lines, hinges, and basic wiring) according to product specifications.

Quality Inspection: Check finished assemblies for alignment, structural integrity, and functionality. Ensure all gaps, finishes, and joints meet the company's premium quality standards.

Tool Operation: Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., riveting guns, drills, grinders, torque wrenches, and pneumatic tools).

Material Handling: Handle fabricated stainless steel sheets and components carefully to avoid scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage.

Collaboration: Work closely with the sheet metal fabrication, welding, and quality control teams to ensure smooth production flow and resolve any assembly discrepancies.

Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace (5S principles). Adhere to all company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
