Automation Tool developer
Department: Controls Department and Automation Team Reports To: Automation Manager Location: Chennai, India Key Responsibilities: • Develop automation framework designs based on object-oriented design patterns • Redesign the existing automation framework for scalability and sustainability • Build automation frameworks for unit-level, system-level, and end-to-end testing • Enhance and update the existing framework to support new product development and testing • Perform bug fixes, maintenance, and new feature additions to the automation framework • Improve and maintain the existing automation framework to ensure efficiency and reliability • Introduce object-oriented design principles and best practices into the current automation framework Required Qualifications and Skills: • Strong design thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to collaborate across multiple functional teams • Experience in object-oriented design • Programming knowledge in Python, C/C++, and LabVIEW • Embedded systems knowledge • Ability to read and understand hardware schematics • Experience in automation development for embedded systems • Experience working with mobile and web application automation will be an added advantage Experience: • 5 to 12 years of relevant experience • Experience in the HVAC domain will be an added advantageJob role
