NPD Manager

Job Description & Responsibilities 

• To lead the Project from Customer requirement to Product Launch   
• Developing necessary Drawing and Engineering documentation 
• Arriving the Product Cost
• Handling Multiple Projects and meeting the target time line 
• Liaison with Customer for Product Approval
• Producing new Products
• Project Manager for the safe product launch
• Providing periodical update to Customer and Management on Project & Product development progress
• Co-ordinating in arriving and completing the DVP&R - Design Verification Plan and Report
• Developing Product / Design , Quality and Systemic requirements 
• Attending to Post Launch feedbacks
• Guiding the Engineers in Product and System requirements 
• To Participate in company Product Strategy & Product Innovation 
• VAVE - Value Analysis & Value Engineering
• CFT & Team Building 
• Guiding team to arrive at the required Tools, Fixture and Gauges.

Required Knowledge & Exposure

• Should have worked in Press tool Product Development
• Good Knowledge in 2D and 3D
• Knowledge in GD & T, Design Calculation & Material Selection
• Good Knowledge IATF and Core tools knowledge.
• Should have worked in arriving at DVP&R 
• Project management, APQP & PPAP
• Basic knowledge on Inspection Equipment and measurement techniques
• Should Have interacted with Multiple OEMs
• Exposure to Concept Design, Make to Print & Reverse Engineering 
• Product Innovation , VAVE
