Project Quantity Surveyor

Ensure accurate quantity estimation, cost control, billing, and commercial management of construction projects by coordinating with project teams and vendors, resulting in optimized project costs, timely billing, controlled cash flow, and profitable project execution.

1. Responsibilities:Prepare quantity take-off by analyzing drawings, specifications, and site measurements to ensure accurate estimation and material planning.
2. Develop BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates by evaluating project requirements, labor, and material costs for budget preparation and tender submissions.
3. Prepare client and subcontractor billing by verifying completed work against approved drawings and contract terms to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payment processing.
4. Monitor project costs by tracking material usage, labor expenses, and site expenditures to maintain budget control and minimize cost overruns.
5. Coordinate with site engineers, procurement teams, and vendors by reviewing drawings, work progress, and material requirements to ensure smooth project execution.
6. Conduct site visits and quantity verification by comparing actual work progress with project plans to validate measurements and billing claims.
7. Prepare variation statements and final accounts by evaluating additional or revised works to ensure proper commercial settlement and documentation.
8. Maintain project reports and commercial records by updating billing details, cost reports, and progress summaries to support management decision-making and project transparency.
9. Ensure compliance by adhering to contractual terms, company policies, and construction standards to avoid disputes and maintain client satisfaction.
10. Optimize quantity surveying and billing processes by suggesting improvements and cost-effective solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and profitability.
