Site Supervisor – Traffic Signal & ITS Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities for ATCS/ITMS implementation projects.
• Monitor cable trench excavation, backfilling, and duct laying activities.
• Supervise power cable and LAN cable laying, dressing, routing, and termination works.
• Coordinate installation of traffic signal poles, cantilever poles, signal heads, controllers, junction boxes, UPS systems, and vehicle detection cameras.
• Monitor foundation works, precast chamber installation, and chemical earthing activities.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, BOQ, and client specifications.
• Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), site records, and measurement sheets.
• Coordinate with client representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and project engineers.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and use of PPE at site.
• Plan manpower deployment and monitor productivity.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Identify site issues and coordinate timely resolution.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of Traffic Signal Systems, ATCS, ITMS, CCTV, and Surveillance Systems.
• Experience in electrical cable laying and termination.
• Understanding of civil works related to foundations, trenches, and chambers.
• Ability to read drawings, layouts, and BOQs.
• Knowledge of site safety standards.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and project documentation.
