About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Boiler Engineer to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of industrial boilers and utility systems at our manufacturing facility in Chhatral. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of boiler operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial boilers (50.0 Lakh K Calories, 8.0 TPH FBC Boiler – APCM – PLC – ESP) and associated utility equipment.
• Ensure uninterrupted steam generation to support manufacturing operations.
• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of boilers, pumps, pipelines, valves, and related equipment.
• Monitor boiler efficiency, fuel consumption, water treatment, and steam parameters to optimize performance.
• Ensure compliance with the Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) and all applicable safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, inspections, and statutory documentation.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Supervise boiler operators and utility technicians, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and SOPs.
• Identify opportunities for energy conservation and cost optimization.
• Liaise with external inspectors, vendors, and service providers during inspections and maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and implementation of safety practices within the boiler and utility area.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining industrial boilers in a manufacturing environment.
• Sound knowledge of IBR regulations, utility systems, water treatment, and steam distribution.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and operational issues effectively.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and safety standards.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining reports and documentation.
